2008 Artemisia

Artemisia is Latin for the genius of native plants including Sagebrush which is so abundant among the native vegetation in the upland steppe of Eastern Washington. Floral aromas of violet and rose combine with notes of raspberry, cassis and garden herbs recalling the wines native plant namesake. Dark chocolate, licorice, and coffee provide an ample finish. Pair it with filet mignon, cassoulet or a well aged cheese.

 

Big Sage Red Cuvee 4

With plenty of enticing bright fruit in the nose and on the palate, this red-wine blend is pleasant on its own or pair it with grilled meat and poultry. This wine, our fourth "Big Sage Red", is composed of predominantly Petit Verdot from the outstanding 2009 vintage.

 

2009 Malbec

This release shows strong, yet soft round tannins with a great fruit and acid balance.

2008 Syrah | Technical Data Sheet

Aromas of blackberry, cherry and earth are followed by dark berry jam on the palate and nice long finish.

 

2008 Merlot | Technical Data Sheet

This highly structured and supple Merlot opens with flavors of bright cherry and raspberry. The cherry and berry fruit components linger on the palate throught the chocolate-spice finish. Try it with pasta marinara, roasted ham or your favorite grilled meat.

 

2008 Tempranillo/Grenach/Mourvedre | Technical Data Sheet

This wine has a great core of blackberry and black cherry, with a long dark chocolate finish. This is an interesting and satisfying new world blend.
