After growing wine grapes for 20+ years we decided to open our own winery. Steppe Cellars opened in 2005. It is a partnership between two sisters and their husbands.

It is a venture that would not have been possible without the help and support of our friends and family. Each partner also brings diverse experience and perspectives to this growing family business.

Tom & Susan graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). Since 1979 Tom has been farming and Susan has been teaching.

Mike & Gabrielle graduated from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). They live in Seattle with their three kids, two dogs, and a cat. Mike works in technology and Gabrielle is a nurse practitioner.
